Re: J-Dream spool?
The J Dream is never a long cast spool. I have both the J dream and the IP and didn't quite like their stock spools. It is good for casting light weight (for OG Zillion) which is able to cast down to 5g. Versatile when you only carry one reel to fish while the inductor mag brake is way too strong fo...

Re: BFS Reel option : New Conquest BFS? Or tune up my Abu 2500C?
Never understood why people bother tuning a heavy, bulky and uncomfy tractor that are the round reel abu's. I would get anything over one. We all bother ourselves to kill some time and get some fun. Same as in baitfinesse, it is always easier to cast tiny baits further with a spinning setup. ...

Re: BFS Reel option : New Conquest BFS? Or tune up my Abu 2500C?
The problem with Abu and any of those old school reels such as Isuzu for baitfinesse is their non-disengaged levelwind. No matter how well you tune it by adding bearings here and there it is still adding some start up inertia and the most important thing in casting tiny baits is to get the start up ...

Re: Megabass Triza Travel Rods ( Help me pick 3)
Not the highest end 2-4pc rod i've got, but it feels like some premium quality MB rods. May I know which is the best travel rod/blank you have tried so far? I tried a few lately. The best might be the 5pc Poison Glorious, so damn expensive too. The Excense MB is also impressive, more affordable. Ho...

Re: Megabass Jaggler castable?
It has 2pin centri brake for boat jigging.
So it is castable.
The Daiwa Viento has mag brake though.

Conquest 300 vs Conquest 200DC (1st gen vs 2nd gen)
So I was looking for a reel for heavier uses and bait fishing, and I end up with these three options. Ideally I would like to have a round reel with anti reverse pawl, audible drag, not too heavy, good to palm and cast farrrrrrrr, but I know this thing doesn't exist yet. So lets see: 1. Conquest 30...

My I'ze Light has the PX68 gear and I love the SV105 in it.
For finesse the Megabass IS finesse spool is great.

Re: PhotoBucket has ruined TT
The problem of linking pics from Facebook is that their links are not permanent. They fxxking change the url link every maybe 2 months and I have to keep going back to edit my post to make the pics work. Check out my old threads. There was time back then that I posted every new rods and reels I boug...
