Great man, also, what would you say is the sweet spot for light Texas rigs? 1/4 oz, 1/2oz like total weight(with trailer)?

Sounds like a great rod. Shallow as in 3-8ft or so? How light of a Texas rig and what's the heaviest you'd go? And have you tried a spinner bait? Sorry for all the questions, but you've spiked my interest.
