Re: Stadic 2500MgFA or 2005 Biomaster 2500
I understand what you guys are saying. I'm comparing a magnesium reel to an aluminum reel. I also understand that the US version to the Biomaster is the Stradic and that the Stradic Mg reel would compare to the Sensilite so I guess I should have made my self clearer. I was going for more of a buget ...

Re: Stadic 2500MgFA or 2005 Biomaster 2500
Boone. A friend of mine has the regular stradic, and it is an awesome reel. That's why I was leaning toward the MgFA version, but supposidly the new biomaster has the "SR" concept and I've heard so much about the Japanese imports being smoother and so forth than the US market reels. Any truth to the...

Stadic 2500MgFA or 2005 Biomaster 2500
Alright guys. I have an itch to buy a new reel and can't make up my mind. What do think? Stradic 2500MgFA or the new Biomaster 2500.

Re: Problems on Ebay with Overseas seller and Scorpion 1500
You know? I was thinking of buying a Shimano Stradic 2500MgFA off Ebay because they're quite a bit cheaper than retail, but I wonder if the sellers work for larger chain stores and sell the reels cheap because they were returns. Flawed from the factory. They're still "NIB". Although it's not illegle...

Re: 2006 quantum reels
They look pretty slick. I love my new Energy. A vast improvment over my Daiwa Capricorn. It's a lot smoother using big baits and casts just as far.

Re: My pfleuger presidents running rough!
Take it back and ask for a replacement. I just took my Energy E20PTi back about an hour ago and replaced it with a E30PTi because it was just to small.

Re: Airrus Co-Matrix (from Hot deals)
Oh. I'm not to concerned about it. I was just hoping to get a good deal. If I get a new Airrus I'll just pay full price, but I'm a little soured on having another rod shipped. I went into The Sportsman Warehouse yesterday and picked up a new 2006 Shimano Compre spinning rod with the exposed blank an...

Re: Airrus Co-Matrix (from Hot deals)
I ordered a 7' MH spinning from cabelas AND UPS BROKE IT!!! It went from Colorado to Kentucky to Seattle Washington to my home town of Coeur D' Alene, ID. It was almost in my hands and they broke it. Leave it to UPS. This is why I always ship Fed ex. Anyway I called Cabelas and they had already hear...

Re: Rod for my new reel?
Thanks all and yes, the St. Croix could be it. No 2-piece Avids :( Falcon and Qarrow also didn't have fitting 2-piece rods. I did find two others: Cabela's Fish Eagle XML XCLC663X-2 (don't know anything about them) Shimano Compre CPC-66M2B (can't find this on online shops, only at Shimano's page) ....

Blue fox #6 Super vibrax yellow and red bleeder musky buck.
It's a big spinner. Must be why it has such a big name.

Daiwa Regal Xi
Does anyone have any real world experience with the Regal Xi 2500 reel? It's unbelievably cheap for what you get. I know it's not in the hardbodyz series, but 10 bearings, twistbuster 2, and all the other features of the mid range daiwas. Whats to loose?

Capricorn 2500A drag design?
Hi all. First time poster here at Tackletour. I picked up a Capricorn 2500A a couple weeks ago and absolutly love it. Classic Daiwa engineering, but I have a question. Why did they move the drag coil spring from the main shaft to the spool and replace it with the gear/pin and spring system like so m...
