I use both mono and braid for squarebills and lipless cranks. It depends on the situation-braid around wood cover, mono around rocks. Lovely looking combo. Always liked the offset reel seat with a round reel. If Daiwa could do a 50 size I would be all over it. Maybe try the new Millionaire CT SV. Shoild just about disappear in your hand but still offer a very firm hold.
