Re: Big Thanks to TW! Crystal Spin...

Skeet,

I like the way they look. I ordered 8 of them. I wish I had not. For a spinner bait, they want come through cover without hanging on everything.

It is a shame I spent that much money that is useless to me where I like to fish.

Re: Need a new Jig rod

Justin, That list is a wide variate of rods. The St Croix 68MXF should be removed from the list. It is a nice rod but not designed for jigs.(no backbone). I had one, good rod but not heavy enough for jigs. What length rods do you like fishing with? Your list is a bit wide. For heavy cover I use a Do...

Re: bearing kit for calcutta 200gtb

Yes I have used and still use the bearings. They are good bearings.

Most reel bearings you buy, no matter where you get them come from China. Not all but most.

Re: bearing kit for calcutta 200gtb

Call Smoothdrag (1-888-206-4656) and you can get ABEC 5 ceramic bearings and the Carbontex drag washers for the 200GTB.

They have a reel list of bearing sizes.

Re: shimano Calcutta TE200GT

You will not go wrong with any of the Calcutta reels. I have a boat full.

They are as tough as it gets in a reel.
