Most universal rod in the lineup and the best one, imo.
I use it basically for everything, very sensitive too.

I do use acetone when I clean my Hedgehog AIR / ZPI hybrid bearings.
10-15 minutes flush doesn't do any damage.
Bearings still rotate very well.

TackleTrap don't carry spool pins anymore, same with Daiwa.

Are you not satisfied with skipping capabilities or with the reel in general?
Shimano SLX DC, Scorpion DC can skip really good as well.

Better for them to sell less at a higher price.
I stopped buying top of the line spinning reels, nothing wrong with top of the line I own from 2010 I still own and maintain myself.

Throw frogs not too often, however, if I had to pick a designated rod for froggin, this would be it - Steez Frogger C67MH-FR 7-28g, should handle small and big frogs really well.
