I own the rod, however I would rate it 5-16g and ML, using mostly for skipping 5" Senkos and other plastics with 0.26mm fluorocarbon line.

You also have to remember, the future for JDM bass tackle was cut short when the Japanese government put largemouth and smallmouth bass on the alien species list.
