Received it today, super thrilled as the fit and finish is perfect. Won’t get a chance to fish it till Sunday morning so pictures to follow.

Re: Alphas air stream custom
Hi!!! Just read the whole thread from start the finish. New to BFS. I’ve got a Daiwa Wise Stream 4’5” on the way and am currently tossing up between the Daiwa ASC or a Shimano Conquest bfs. I love the ASC (I’m a Daiwa fanboy) but am a bit concerned about line capacity and saltwater intrusion. It’ll...

Zen Market?
Anyone purchase any rods from there, I’ve been eyeing a couple I’d like to test out. If so, how accurate is the shipping estimator as some rods are single piece 6’ long.

Re: Fenwick KTF GWT60L
I haven't used any of the KTF / Teimco Fenwick rods, but I've been admiring them for a very long time. I still have a Techna AV spinning rod that still works great for moving baits. I target +20" brown trout, rainbows, and the occasional skamania in my local flows. Over the years, I find myself mov...

Fenwick KTF GWT60L
Looking for those that have fished this rod and your thoughts on it. Looking for a longer rod for trout fishing with main target size in the 15+” range. I understand this is a bass taper though the specs fit exactly what I’ve been looking for in a rod 7g max and 5-10lb line. I have nice trout tapere...

Re: Suspending baits?
I like the Flash Minnow 85sp. Great little bait that casts well for its light weight. Do you know the difference between the N and R versions? No idea. I don’t even see that on the packaging anywhere but see what you mean on their site. :-k Can’t find any differences explained I wonder it is a year...

Suspending baits?
On the quest to find other suspending baits I’ve currently been using Smith Panish 85SP they are 85mm 6.6g in Rainbow Trout and the few I have are about gone, broke off a big guy in some rocks last night. Unfortunately they won’t be doing another run until spring 2020. So I’m looking for other baits...

Re: All ready for some small stream trouting...
Though my choice of rod has changed, and I’m not fishing spoons at this time I’m still hitting the water. Tons of rain the last week with more coming though I’d hit some post flood streams. Post flooding trout, the Browns were fat and aggressive early this morning. https://i.imgur.com/n0yJ3zY.jpg Mo...

Megabass Great Hunting GHBF48-UL
Anyone have the pleasure of fishing this rod? Guessing it is a couple of years old from research and I did find one in stock online. It is a packable trout rod but hoping the quality flows over from their other lines.
