Does anyone know where I can purchase just the end caps to the knobs for a Shimano Curado 70?
I don't see them listed as a separate part number.
Thanks.

Re: Wanting small round reel. What should i get
I have the Calcutta 50xt, the Conquest 50, and the newer model Conquest 100. All three are great reels and you can't go wrong with any of them, but there's just something about the Conquest 50 that makes it my favorite of the three. Actually, the Calcutta 50xt would be my second choice and then the ...

Re: Which would you pick
I've fished the Chronarch 50e and also the Scorpion 70 and prefer the Scorpion. Feels more refined.

Rod tip guide size for CUC76ML
I was fishing this weekend and my braided line broke twice. Upon inspection I noticed that the rod insert at the tip of the rod is cracked and very sharp. Rod is a Shimano Cumara CUC76ML. This is the black colored reaction series. I need to replace the rod tip, but can't seem to find exactly what ty...

Re: Favorite Or Greatest Bass Fisherman Of All Time
Greatest in my opinion is KVD.
Favorite is Greg Hackney. He is a good fisherman, from Louisiana, and just seems like he would be fun to fish with.

Re: edge first strike update
Got my rod in yesterday and for $150 I'm really impressed. Very light and well put together. The hard part will be to find some time to test it out on the water. Duck season has my attention right now. My 11 year old son was impressed as well and keeps threatening to "borrow" it from me.

I'm expecting to receive mine today. This will be my first Gary Loomis rod. Really looking forward to it.

Re: Best Baitcasting Reels for both Salt- and Freshwater Fis
This is the exact same type of fishing that I do and I've tried several brands of reels and always seem to come back to Shimano. In that price range, I would recommend the Curado I. I have one and use it often and it is holding up well and has a very smooth drag and enough power for what you are loo...

Re: Best inshore low profile baitcasters?
I've tried the Revo STX, Zillion Coastal, and the Curado D series. I liked these reels, but ended up getting rid of them over time. My favorite is the Chronarch D7. To me it's a perfect blend of lightweight, power, and smoothness. I just got an Exseence DC yesterday and I like it so far. I plan to t...

Re: Exsence DC
Just got mine in yesterday and am very impressed so far. I ordered mine from Rakuten and had to pay $20 of customs fees, but it was well worth it. This is my first DC reel and my first JDM purchase. The cool factor on this really is awesome and I love the DC whine when casting. I got to use it at a ...
