I have the Cardiff 51sdc.. I love the little reel! I do wish it was a deeper spool at times..for bass fishing.. But for it's intended purpose (trout) it is a sweet little machine :big grin:

Maybe after my house investment a Conquest 51dc will be in my future..we will see.

nice setups! seems like a crime to mount that steez on that berkley pulse rod :?: Careful there :) That is my favorite rod, price does not matter to me.. I've used and abuse the Pulse for over 10 years, it is the best for throwing spinnerbaits in flooded timber and stumps. A better price point matc...

Cork was my first choice too, but with the taper of the rod it didn't seem feasable.. So foam will do.

I cannot wait to get this rod out on the water!!!
