I think I prefer the Silver/Gray of the Curado I. The color should match any rod nicely.

Anything above 6'9" that is Medium Heavy with Fast action should suffice. A spinnerbait rod can effectively be used as a swim jig rod.

I've seen a picture of the new IMX rod on the Shimano facebook page. It looks nice. Full cork handle it seems. In another picture, it looks like Robby Gant is using the new Curado with a mystery rod. It all depends on the lighting. There can be a bluish tint under certain light conditions. I think it is an optical illusion because there is no blue in the paint or clear coat.
