Bantam, I was wondering if the number of bearings in the Calcutta TE GT (10+1) vs TE (6+1) was simply bearings in the knobs for the TE GT version? Agreed on the aesthetics, I would also have liked to have seen a TE or DC thumb bar over the solid black one the D series comes with.

I just ordered some parts via phone. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to wasn't sure on some compatibilty questions I had and when she transferred me to a technician, they were busy so I didn't leave a message as I wasn't sure they'd actually return my call.

I almost forgot to ask, what about the cast control knobs between a Calcutta 200DC and a 200TE?

Does anyone know if the knob nuts for left hand threaded posts from a Conquest or Calcutta DC can be ordered from Shimano? Or should I purchase right hand threaded posts?
