Re: Painting Reel Seats
You can always try Matagi stuff. The painted Mudhole seats are Matagi, so you can save on shipping from Japan. Otherwise, Merrick Tackle should be able to get you colors not available through Mudhole. I've never heard of Merrick Tackle before. I checked out the site, and there goes my hopes of keep...

I talked to a Daiwa guy today at LBF - they are seriously considering bringing the T3 over. They'll know in a month.

Re: Holy cow batman!!!
I would post some pics If I could I took some with my iPhone! I will try and load them to my lap top then to hear! Still not sure how I like micros! On the delta and clear lake you get stuff like cotton willow floties that stick to braid and make a mess of the reel line guide. That's what i see hap...

Re: Guides
Any decent ceramic is going to stand up to braid. On a custom rod, I really don't see the point in doing anything less than an Alconite. And Alconite is just fine for a cranking stick. Especially a big heavy glass rod. Its not like sensitivity or light weight are really terms that go with these bla...

Zillion PE schematic
Hi guys,
Can someone please post a link to or a scanned .jpg of the Zillion PE Special schematic? There was one on the old TT forums, but with the crash it seems to be gone.
TIA!

I sent him a PM earlier today and it is still in my outbox.
His location on his profile is south of Tokyo - toward Nagoya. I hope he's out fishing!

Re: Any experience with Sure Set Treble Hooks?
I've had maybe two fish come in hooked on only the long treble. Other than that, there is no real difference.

Re: Sunline Super FC Sniper
I just bought a spool of #16 and it feels really good. Fairly low memory. I only got to cast it in the yard a few times. I have no idea if the pros are getting a different recipe...
It is the same price. You might be thinking of Shooter.

Re: Samurai braid?
The more people describing Samurai braid the more it reminds me of the old Berkley Whiplash braid. It called whiplash because that's what happens if it wraps around your rod tip. :big grin: It's a soft, and loosely braided line. It looses it's body within a few casts and spool dig'n is very easily ...
