Anyone know about Basszone aluminum handles
I was puttering around Ebay and found these. Just type in Basszone. They look pretty nice. The thing that struck me as odd is it states with use for both Shimano and Daiwa reels. If anyone has some of these would you post a picture? I'm considering a pair for my new Scorpion 1001 XT. Just looking fo...

Re: Daiwa Sol Baitcaster?
I would offer him 175 bucks. It can't hurt to ask! I recall that as the asking price of a few NIB lefties someone had for sale on here 3 or 4 months ago. I wouldn't pay more than 200 for it, but I also couldn't resist upgrading it which would put you north of 300 in a hurry.

Same lure, different colors. Perch and the white one with orange belly and black eyes, hard to find.bassninja wrote:Yo Zuri Rattlin' Vibe - 5/8 oz - Fire Tiger. Or any chartreuse colored lipless crankbait when the bass are in full prespawn buffet mode.

Re: Hawgtech Handle on Core
It sounds like you installed the handle with the drag star too loose and the handle tightened against the star instead of the shoulder on the shaft. Then when you tighten the handle nut, it locks the star. If you can turn the star tighter, it lets the handle move closer to the reel which then makes...

Re: Hawgtech Handle on Core
That would explain it. If a handle collar or extra spacers are needed for this mod, I think Hawgtech should supply it. I understand they don't have all the bugs worked out just yet, and I'm sure they will take care of me. Thanks for the responses guys. Its not Hawgtechs fault, not a bug issue. Its ...

Re: Hawgtech Handle on Core
Steve explained it better than I did. Td-Z's and Fuego have the handle collar built in. Once you get a Daiwa handle collar this should solve the problem. You still might need another thin spacer after the handle collar for extra clearance. That would explain it. If a handle collar or extra spacers ...

So I need a collar. Even with the nut cover on, the nut still comes loose.

Re: Hawgtech Handle on Core
I don't think its called a handle nut collar, just handle collar. It goes in between the drag star and handle. http://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=660_855&zenid=373bac1a74bc6da014a13db2794693aa Yeah it didn't come with one. That would keep the nut from loosening, but not sure if i...

Re: Hawgtech Handle on Core
Handle nut collar? Are you referring to the nut cap? The only items that came with the reel are are the nut, nut cover, and nut cover screw.BRbasser wrote:Did you remember to use the handle nut collar? Also you could put a thin washer or spacer after the handle nut collar. I had to use one on my Calcutta.

Re: Hawgtech Handle on Core
So I guess the wife saw me looking at the hawgtech website and ordered me a handle for a stocking stuffer. Even though these handles are bulky and wider than I would have liked, its a nice upgrade from the stock handle on a Fuego. Would I buy another?? Not sure.......But if they came out with anoth...

Re: rods / reels - a fashion industry?
What isn't a fashion industry? Our homes, cars, furniture, clothing. It's rather interesting what we place our values into. At the end of the road, we can't take any of it with us anyway. With that being said, I don't really understand the "point" in your topic. When you shop for whatever do you jus...
