Re: Evergreen Rapid Gunner RSR

TKIC is the faster of the two, and that’s why I was asking just in case you were talking about the TKLC. You did mention 5 different baits (jigs, t-rigs, frogs, swim jigs, and 8/0 owner/swim bait), and that’s why I interpreted your statement as leaning towards “versatile”. Many people have differen...

Re: Evergreen Rapid Gunner RSR

Thanks RISE, I actually already ordered the Rapid Gunner HD, ironically enough! I’ll report back next week once I get some time on it. I also use a XBD for frogs right now, great rod for that too. Most of my fishing would be considered longer range and I really prefer those heavier power F/XF rods ...

Re: Evergreen Rapid Gunner RSR

Thanks man, a detailed review would be awesome. It looks like a very interesting rod on paper. This is what I’m thinking... I do a lot of heavy cover power fishing and typically like rods with ex-fast tapers with rigid backbone and nice crisp, sharp hooksets. For those applications that butter smoo...

Re: Evergreen Rapid Gunner RSR

I'm your huckleberry... I own one, and have plenty of info to offer you on it, if you'd like. I've fished it for several months, now, and heavy T-rigs/Jigs are where this rod shines. I am actually in the process of writing up a detailed review. And...the 30* quattro axis weave stops at 13.75" from t...

Re: Seditions and some others.

Bump to keep this the thread on the front page where it belongs and in hopes to see more sexy time pictures 8-) RISE?  I’ll post up some shots of a recent outing, soon. Got to test some new sticks, and spend more time with the Hooligan, and some other recently acquired “new favorites”.

Re: Seditions and some others.

How do you like the kahen spools. I missed out on the last run but got a bantam and metanium Neo spool on the way. If you’ve tried the zpi nrcs just wondering what you think about these in comparison. Thanks It's my life mission to get both of KTF 34MM spools. If I miss this round (which is easy to...

Re: Seditions and some others.

Lots to love about these rods. Got to spend some more time with the Hooligan, and caught a few including one over 5lbs. Handled it beautifully.

Re: Seditions and some others.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bwtr0mHsGTA Looks like Sendo (one of the brothers behind Sedition) did a series of YouTube vidoes for Duel for a couple of years. I have watched a few of the episodes, and while the baits are showcased, you can see the Fillmore (or Whitesnake) , the Lion Heart and a ...

Re: High end Jdm cranking rod help

Sorry for my ignorance and straying away from the original post but......what is the story with that white and black Zillion? I really really like that. Is it a custom? Yes, it’s a Calfish custom painted Zillion HLC, with Daiwa, MB, I’ze, Deps, Hedgehog, YT Fusion, and Carbontex parts included in t...

Re: High end Jdm cranking rod help

Starting a new thread, but wanted to do a quick post in here to mention that I got to spend a few days on the water with the Hooligan, Cristobal Ltd. and my favorite big bait stick...The Lion Heart. Also got to add hours onto other favorite sticks in the collection. Hooligan is a very nice stick. L...

Re: Seditions and some others.

Cool looking sticks. If they do a collaboration with Loomis, I'll be first in line to buy one. https://media1.tenor.com/images/b609c1e0c50a36d03417387ebea791fc/tenor.gif?itemid=11080731 It just came out, lol. The compile x steez was the last jdm rod I purchased due to its sexiness, so I'm a little ...
