Re: Compact Spinnerbaits for smallies
the bassman compact spinnerbait is a really small profile, but 3/8 & 1/2oz. they're so small that they have to use a colorado as a front blade.

Re: Broken ags guide
i have 2 rods with the ags guides, and was kind of iffy about buying them used. i have had both for 2 years now with no issues. 1 of the rods is a steez 7'1 mh. back in march i latched on to a good 6-6.5# fish and was moving around the boat to land it, and happened to step off the front deck and cau...

Re: Recreating Dale Sellers custom spinnerbait

Re: Missing Rod
the tatula elite 6'9 skippin rod would probably work well for frogs. i got the 7'1 model thinking it was softer in the tip than what it is. my 7'1 h steez xt is softer. i have been throwing a 1/2oz frog with the tat elite, but haven't stuck a fish yet.

Re: “Finesse” flipping jigs
not sure exactly what type head you are wanting, but the do-it molds brush jig works the best for me in wood. they also make a great looking jig with a finesse type skirt. there's tons of folks that pour them and sell them on the inet. i'm sure someone could pour you jigs like you're looking for

Re: What early 2000s crankbait rod?
the rod i'm talking about is what is sometimes referred to as the green handle rods. that's probably the rod mentioned in the tat elite threads since the tak 7' crankin rod is supposed to be based on it

Re: What early 2000s crankbait rod?
grab an old tds 7'mh crank rod. they aren't the lightest or most balanced rods, but they would handle a pretty wide range of baits.
they also have an extremely comfortable seat that makes reels feel smaller than on an ecsm type seat

Re: Project T 22 #6: another Tatula
i posted on the other new reels thread about seeing the vid yesterday morning. i'm interested to see what this new reel is.
i know everybody loves to hate on the tats, but other than 1 steez ct all of my other reels are tat sv's. they've been real workhorses for me.

Re: Forgive my sins
i'm up to #6 since purchasing the newer model at the end of november. i've been perfectly happy with all of them. i really like the color of the older model, but the new 1 feels really good to me. also the ipt is different on the newer models, and the 7:1 fell right in a gap i was trying to fill.
