Shimano warranty change? Last time I checked it was free replacement.

Another thing... Since the great crash the site has slowed. Then with more recent issues with the site it seems some people have left. Quite a few problems with this forum.

I have the crazy crank and love it for a factory rod. Does some many things well. Big jerks, small swimbaits, spinnerbaits, cranks, etc..

Have been through that TOO many times.
Bantam did his best to correct the issue. One reel went back 3 times after they "fixed" it. They finally kept that reel and sent a new one.
I sold that model and haven't bought a shimano since.
Was so frustrated with them.

Totally different classes of reels... TE being far superior.
No connected feeling like a high end daiwa gives IMO.

The MH 7' will throw a vision for sure. For some reason I do not like throwing moving baits on mine...
Jigs and senkos is what I use mine for.
