Re: $250 rods

Shimano warranty change? Last time I checked it was free replacement.
Wife broke her crucial, send back the handle to the specs of the rod and got a new one 3 weeks later.

New combo,MB and Daiwa Z

Have wanted a slant for a long time... Almost pulled the trigger when Amercian Legacy did their Megabass blow out but it wasn't the rod I really wanted so I waited. Well since MB doesn't do the slant bridge any longer and I wasn't willing to pay $500+ for a used on I kind of wrote it off. Well I got...

A new rod and reel
Another thing... Since the great crash the site has slowed. Then with more recent issues with the site it seems some people have left. Quite a few problems with this forum.

I have the crazy crank and love it for a factory rod. Does some many things well. Big jerks, small swimbaits, spinnerbaits, cranks, etc..

Re: What lure disappointed you the most?

The Sebile magic swimmer, looks fantastic in the water. The amazing action however does not produce for me.I have given this lure(numerous sizes)plenty of time on the water with very little joy :? The soft plastic version is however one of my favorites, the bass smash this lure. Go figure :-k Yep! Did...

Nice!
Might try these for pike and tiger muskie
Hard to find a tough soft bait. Sucks have $25 hudds destroyed with one fish.
How much are they going to be on tw?
Thanks

Re: poor service

Have been through that TOO many times.
Bantam did his best to correct the issue. One reel went back 3 times after they "fixed" it. They finally kept that reel and sent a new one.
I sold that model and haven't bought a shimano since.
Was so frustrated with them.

Totally different classes of reels... TE being far superior.
No connected feeling like a high end daiwa gives IMO.

Re: Which Phenix UMBX-C 7'?

The MH 7' will throw a vision for sure. For some reason I do not like throwing moving baits on mine...
Jigs and senkos is what I use mine for.
