It wouldn't be my first choice for weightless plastics. It's not a true bfs reel by any means. It is however an outstanding power finesse machine. 3/16 total weight is where it really starts to shine. And then of course, you can also use it for baits up to a half ounce. Those are JDM reels only except the Zillion -R.
They were never found on the USDM Daiwa website.

All Daiwa reels are JDM designed.
Daiwa is a Japanese based company
