It is the steez limited 105 spool. This spool does really well for what I need.

The fixed inductor acts like a linear mag brake, no difference is applied brake based off of spool speed. I would give it a shot, worst case move the line over to the 1016 later.

The RCS 1016 spool I have is a long casting beast for me. I personally use an sv spool for frogging though as I skip a bunch. Currently using a sv103 spool in a tdz for that. I also just got some spacers for my Zillion 50th, but that one got a Steez LTD 105 spool for fishing jigs and Texas rigs.

I personally use Hawgtech bearings which can be had as low as 8.00 each.

My Daiwas feel nothing like a doyo reel. I can't speak for the tatula elite but all of my other Daiwa are OG zillions, steezs and alphas platforms. The one Doyo reel I have is an ALC BF7 and its a great reel, just not as solid feeling.

I had one cara and sold it. I found the spine was way off and had issues with heavy Hookset wanting to torque the rod over to one side. Damn sensitive rod though and I'm glad to see them move away from the ACS seat.

If you're looking for a non Twing reel the Sv103 would be awesome on that rod. These however are discontinued so you would have to buy used. I recently bought an Xtasy 753 during the sale, I ended up with a OG steel on mine and love it.

I have both a Kistler Helium 3 and a Dobyns Xtasy. The dobyns is more sensitive and way better balanced, but at 200$ more it better be.
