Re: mono?

Suffix Siege and Elite are both good mono lines. Elite has excellent handling and a little more stretch Siege seems to be tougher, more abrasion resistant. I guess abrasion resistance isn't really necessary so the Elite might be worth a try. Seems like that's easy to find as well. As long as it doe...

Re: rod for px spr ?

Ordered a Cumara cuc72ma. 1/8 to a 1/4. I am not worried about the length for topwater and the rod will be used more for small cranks and small jerkbaits. I wish I didn't have to use mono, but don't have much of a choice, obviously kneed the line to float. Going to try 8#. Guess I will just have to ...

I would call that a best case scenario. Congrats, I am more of a Daiwa user but those reels are very very nice.

Re: Differences between PX Type R and PX68

When I have both reels out side by side checking them out. I choose the type r 10 out of 10 times. It just feels better. I have the spr because its different. I would get another type r before a p68.

Re: Daiwa SS SV 103SHL

I have one and like it so far. I have not fished with it do to all the snow and ice. Definitely not sorry I bought it. Only minus for me is the plastic drag star and i would like a longer handle. As far as just fishing worms, I guess I will find out what it's made of by burning some spinnererbaits ...

Re: rod for px spr ?

why do you think 7 foot 2 is too long? I am 6 foot 4 and any rod under 7 feet feels small to me. I have a 6'8" mh cumara fast action. I have not finished it yet but that rod feels small in my hands. If I could get away with fishing my 852 GLX JWR I would and that would solve everything. It is this y...

Re: rod for px spr ?

I am looking for a rod to suit the PX SPR. The rod will only be used for small plugs.Pop-r, small jerkbaits, and light crankbaits like the shad rap. Mostly smallmouth fishing and I will be using 6 pound mono. I need a rod that will load and cast accurately light baits. I just got a 842 NRX. Sounds ...

Re: rod for px spr ?

6'10ml adrena or Zodias. I just ordered one for small Jerkbaits. I thought about the zodious, but nobody has fished one to give any feedback on it'. I want a light rod that balances well. Those are at a good price point, but some people say they don't balance well and just don't feel right. I don't...
