Mostly smallmouth fishing and I will be using 6 pound mono. I need a rod that will load and cast accurately light baits. I just got a 842 NRX. Sounds ...

Re: cumara ?

I agree. I bought the Dobbins 705 CB for crankbaits but It says crankbaits jerkbaits spinnerbaits topwaters on the rod. So one day I tossed some jerks with it and I love the rod for that application. I know it's different than the cumara but since the cumara is a composite rod I was just curious how...

Re: cumara ?

my favorite jerk bait rod is a Dobyns mh glass crankbait rod. So I was kind of curious how the cumara crankbait rod would work. I understand they are completely different materials that's why I'm wondering.

I have 4 new crucialsl with cork handles. I like them better than the older ones with the split grips that looked rather cheap.

Re: Shimano Chronarch CI4+ your thoughts...

I have one that I put on a Dobyns 705cb. I throw jerkbaits, cranks as small as the dt-6 and as big as the Dd22. Daiwa ss sv drag star question

I ordered one of these and see that it has a plastic drag star. Where can I find a red one that's not plastic?? Will it work the same? Is it easy to change?
