Re: Steez AGS Spinning Rods
I should have gotten another 76mml when they had the last order but kept debating over adding a 7’M. I have a lot of 76 spinning rods and was considering the 7’ for more largemouth fishing tossing senkos etc

New reels need for 893 and 894 nrx
I need to purchase 4 new reels for these rods (2 893 and 2 894 nrx)this weekend. Price range under 300 For each. Looking for the best in this price category. Neither rod will be used for moving baits pretty much strictly bottom contact use weightless senkos to 3/4oz.
Re: Rod Value
Any high end rod typically will hold its value but I’ll never pay retail. I see guys all the time selling some used high end rods for more or equal to what I can get them new. There’s deals out there to be had. However there are some rods where getting a deal just doesn’t seem to be much a option
Re: Nrx 893
I feel it’s near perfect for that however if your talking heavy cover such as grass go to the 873 or 894. The 894 is probably the perfect all around jig rod

Re: Zolo Toadface?
I first seen the new enox at the Richmond VA fishing show and was very impressed. My good friend wanted the best chatterbait rod and took my advice and bought the bmj. Its really a nice build. He, my brother and I (all high end gear junkies) are all very impressed by the looks and how it fished. I ...

Re: Kistler vs Dobyns
Grade A cork is actually a low grade of cork. It’s very misleading and one would think getting A cork is good but your best cork will be AAAA. Kistler would definitely benefit from use of better cork. Wish he would just go to the rubber marbled cork

I need more models. The ones they are offering don’t have much appeal to me.

Typical for st croix to have a limited model offering. I wish they offered more models across all the series
