like KB said pork is best in colder water cause they hold their action in the colder water and do plastics but when water is warmer. I always go with plastic just easier and more convenient.

Now did you guys use your warranty cards or did you just call stating the problem. Knock on wood but i have never had a prob with any of PT spinning reels or curado reels as well as have any rods break. But i always ear from other stressing mailing in warranty cards but i never do.
