Megabass Destroyer T.S POKER

I have had my eye on a T.S Poker for some time. I now have a reel on the way that I think will pair well with it, but I am still trying to figure out what all will WORK WELL with a 7'2, fast taper, 1/2 oz to 3 oz stick. For anyone who has one, or are very familiar with the rod some thoughts and feed...

Re: Levante vs. Zillion casting rods

No comparison for you, but I can assure you this Megabass XX is a much better rod than the Levante rod. $10 less as a bonus. https://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1066_941_942&products_id=4054&zenid=2266eb009981c5338857f3917450f38b If that doesn't get you there, just go to th...

Re: Steez RC vs Poison Ultima

The Steez RC is so sensitive it has to have it's own "safe space". Especially the casting model, it's "triggered" easily.

Re: Steez 17 spinning reel

I think the Gekk Air 2003, with very similar specs is a better overall reel. Better looking unit (IMHO). Magseal at the roller and pinion, while still coming in at the same Steez weight is what tips the scale for me. Just have to be able to live with the 4.8 gear ratio. They can be picked up for les...

Shimano Bantam Combo at Walmart?

I don't think we will see this combo anytime soon at our friendly neighborhood Walmart, but here is for dreaming. http://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/product_info/language/en/products_id/37280/cPath/4027_4028_85_4442/reel/2018-bantam-mgl-hg-right-february-debut.html http://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog...

Re: Megabass Arms Leggera

Anyone considering buying an Arms Leggera is taking into consideration both style, substance and exlusivity. I would suggest the Daiwa Battler, available for purchase only from AU. (to my knowledge). Pick up a G1 SV spool, pay the AU tarriff and you will be into the reel around a crispy $700. At 7.9...

Re: Diawa Battler and Morethan Baitcasting reels

Thanks for your insight (4g, Dra). I've had the Morethan and MB Javelin for about a week now. Exquisite looking combo. The 7.7oz Morethan balances extremly well with the 7ft. 5inch Javelin. I"ve tried both 30 and 40lb Maxcuatro (6&8# eq) and also 50# PP Slick with lures from 3/16th up to 3/4 oz. Alt...

Diawa Battler and Morethan Baitcasting reels

Diawa Battler https://daiwafishing.com.au/products/battler-tw-1520h/ Diawa Morethan https://daiwafishing.com.au/products/morethan-baitcaster/ I am new to the JDM and Import tackle scene and I came across these two gems, which I had never seen. Looks like they are based on the Zillion frame but with ...
