Re: zillion 6:3.1 or 7:0.1
I dont have either but, if you plan on using it to burn spinnerbaits, I would go with the 7:1. The 6.3:1 still has a pretty fast IPT (28") but if I had to buy a reel primarily for burning lures, it would definetly be a 7:1.

Re: New Spinnerbaits
Thanks Trevor, unfortunately I get into a rut sometimes, I really like painting it, when I should be trying new things :) It used to be that blue shad pattern, but I was catching so many fish on it, it was hard to stop! I know what you mean, just like me throwing a Jig when I KNOW I should be throw...

Re: YOURS FAVOURITE MUSIC
Dang, Ive heard those Bogners are sweet. I had a Marshall JCM 800 100W head about 5 years ago, I wish I had never sold it. I play through a Mesa Boogie DC-2, its powered by EL84s which give it a really nasty, almost Brian May sound. Ive got a big ol' Fender Deville (6l6s)I use for most clean tones, ...

Re: YOURS FAVOURITE MUSIC
I used to want a Rocktron Prophesy preamp so bad. The new Prophesy II has some Mustaine presets, I thought that was pretty cool. I like the way they never hid behind overdriven guitars like so many other bands, while their sounds were always dirty they were never overboard. Friedman has a great styl...

Re: Baitcaster Buying Debate
I love both the Curado 100 and the STX. Thats a tough one, but I would probably go with the STX, its a little more versatile and robust I think

Re: YOURS FAVOURITE MUSIC
Scot, glad to hear of another Megadeth fan. Their music is awesome and so precise. He lives for musical perfection and his voice makes the hair on my neck stand up. Rust in Peace is my favorite album....I also like the album Risk, not very "metal" but a good album. MD.45 (kind of a Mustaine side pro...

Re: top water line recommendations
It does have alot of memory and thats one reason I only use it on moving baits, but it is TOUGH AS NAILS and lasts a while. I always make sure I have some spools of Big Game, its a great line for what its worth.

Re: top water line recommendations
P-Line CXX is my all purpose line. It works good for Topwater, Spinnerbaits, Rat-L-Traps, Shallow Cranks; I use it for almost everything but bottom baits
