Re: BPS TD-Z
The TD-Z U.S. Trail series, I believe, was brought out in Japan around 2 years ago. It was designed to meet the trend of the use of bigger baits (swimbaits) in Japan (before the black Big Bait Special was released) and I speculate that it was also used as a 'bridging product' between the Japanese an...

Re: Daiwa Cork Knobs on Luvias 2500 - possible?
Essentially, like you said, it would be an upgrade, since the two bearings that comes with the machine cut handle will increase the bearing count, but more importantly, be a lot smoother on the retrieve and smoother. This is what I anticipate the Luvias 2500 will look like with the machine cut handl...

Re: Daiwa Cork Knobs on Luvias 2500 - possible?
Well I just checked, after just glancing over Jun's article.
The knob is secured by a rivet, and not a screw. So I guess I would need to replace the whole handle if I wanted to use I-shaped knobs. And I'm not sure whether handle replacement exists.

Daiwa Cork Knobs on Luvias 2500 - possible?
G'day,
Having bought a Luvias 2500 when I should've gotten the 2004 or 2000 or 1500 sizes, I was wondering whether the 'I-shaped' Daiwa cork knobs will fit on 2500 size reels? The T-shaped knobs aren't really my cup of tea.
Any clarification will be greatly appreciated.
