Re: What line for NRX 852c?
Shooter and Sniper are both thin enough so I would go with 12#. You still come in probably around .28 mm and the 12 # allows you to set hooks with those jigs and steer bass from cover if you need to. I love that rod but it’s hard to steer big fish quickly if caught near a dock or brush pile. And I’v...

Megabass Ito Shiner?
Anyone who uses it how does it compare to the 110? What situations and water temps is it best suited for. From the videos I’ve seen on it, it apparently has a much wider more aggressive wobble (which almost sounds LC pointeresque). One guy claimed it excelled for colder water than the 110, and one g...

Re: Gan Craft Jointed Claw - is it worth it / colors
The bait is a looker for sure. I bought a 178 against the advice of a few big bait gurus...long story short mind had terrible action, and I think may have been a faulty bait. It would list to one side and didn’t swim even and would blow out even at slow slow speeds this spring. I read reviews of the...

Re: Jig/T-rig Rod
Expride 7'2" heavy Couldn’t agree more. Maybe look at the 7’6 MH or H Expride if you want more length. Nothing sub GLX price point can touch them The expride was one of my first choices, but the the only places that seem to have them in stock want to charge $100-$200 more Check eBay. They’re readil...

Re: Reels Over Rated Or Under Rated
Chronarch MGL. I was expecting big things but it felt and sounded loud when retrieving and I couldn’t see any casting improvement over my Scorpion 71

Re: Opinions on the Duo Realis 120SP?
The 110 has a loud rattle just like a duo 120sp. They both sound like a one knocker rather than multiple smaller beads. I do a lot of jerkbait fishing & the duo 120sp is a winner. Sharp hooks, good color selections and a fish catcher. Awesome thanks man! And to be clear we’re talking about the Visi...

Re: Opinions on the Duo Realis 120SP?
I've caught my best jerkbait fish on a Duo 120SP, it's the first jerkbait tired on every time. How loud are the rattles? I have heard that complaint before. Honestly I still have yet to find a jerkbait that will get bit the way a 110 will in cold water. Had a buddy tie on every LC he had in his box...

Anyone built on the MB 704 HM?
I'm curious about how it compares in power to the MB 705 or typical medium powered casting rods?

Re: 'Downgrading' from the NRX?
I believe outside of NRX your best options are GLX, Zbone, expride/poison adrena...or build your own on an NFC blank. But personally all my 7’1” and shorter NRX rods balance beautifully so I’m assuming you have the 7’5 lengths... You really won’t find a lighter easier to fish rod than NRX in the 6’8...

Opinions on the Duo Realis 120SP?
I read some really good reviews on this bait on TW, and the paint and finish look really sharp and is apparently durable. The only negative I saw was apparently the 110 size fouls the front hook often on the cast, but the 120 had nothing but rave reviews. And I'm wanting a 120mm jerkbait to test alo...

Re: NRX 9th Year at ICast 2019 / Revamp?
Like the guides, they're just plain more sensitive for bottom contact. Like the split grip. Like the blue. Would love to see an inch or so added to the rear grip on the 7'5" models. And maybe add some 7'4 - 7'6" fast tapered blanks for those who like fast better than x-fast, but to me the rod serves...

Re: Is Zillion SV worth cost over Tatula SV?
I don't know about the slp. I got a new 7.3 sv tat in the mail today , it doesn't feel near as smooth as the one I already have. Feels like a crappy pinion bearing or anti reverse bearing. That's how my luck rolls , I guess.. I took the side plate off removed what little grease there was , re-lubed...
Re: Nrx 853c?
If you value balance you’ll find it superior to the 893, if not you’ll appreciate the 893’s length. I’ve owned both I couldn’t feel as comfortable fishing the 893 or 894 because they’re so tip heavy. I found the 853 to be a fantastic rod. If I wanted a 7’6 ish jig rod I would personally go GLX or Co...
