Re: $50 L powered (BFS?) rods?

i'm still looking for a bfs rod. i tried really hard to get a major craft, but never could make the purchase happen. looks like they finally got their usa website lined out, but they are out of stock on everything i was interested in. i've been checking ali out, but really don't have a clue on what ...

Re: 13 Fishing Defy Black Crankbait Casting Rod 7'4" update

i've got the 7'9 defy black, and the 7'3 defy chrome and like both of them. i really wish they would do a 6'9 or 6'10 version of the 7'3 defy chrome. i've thrown spinnerbaits with it before and really liked it, but i prefer a shorter rod.

Re: Why no interest in the Daiwa Rebellion?

i've got the 6'10 mhr,and like the action & weight, but the lockdown is uncomfortable to me. i can move my fingers around to use the rod, but it's a concious effort.

i'd love to have the same blank with the tatula elite reel seat.

Re: Zona and Lews

Well now I’m just going to have to do a comparison of annual rosters. I used my example because the pro had I think 3 rods with his name on them. Wouldn't be any fun if I just named names now would it? My guess is Cody Meyer, but his site doesn't have much on it. i watched the interview on ba...

Re: Daiwa 2021 RODS

looks like the air sensor reel seat is being used on these models. i dont care for it on the rebellion rod i have. It’s a new reel seat. A hybrid between the original air beam and newer generation Airsensor technology. Air beam was a heavy reel seat, the new one blends the unique style of air beam ...

Re: Best Glass Rod

I’ve been using a glass rod for the past few months, starting with crankbaits, then for topwaters, then for spinnerbaits. I’m thinking glass is better for moving baits and graphite for slow stuff. i've always felt that way as well. i still haven't figured out why chatterbaits are to be thrown on a ...

Re: Tatula SV TW103 inital thoughts

i dont own any of the new tat sv's, on ly the older ones. it seems like folks dont really seem to talk as much about the newer version as they did when the original came out, but i also dont see a lot of them for sale on posting boards. i really cant get a feel for what folks think about them.

Re: Straight Knot Strength - Tatsu?

i've only tried tatsu once, but it didn't just floor me. i used 8# on a kage lt 2500, and i could not keep twist out. i was just throwing a 1/8oz shakey. i would let a ton of it out behind the boat every time i went fishing, but it would twist back up in no time. it may be more the reel than the lin...

Re: Casting Rods... What will you spend?

$375 is the most expensive rod i own, and that is a 7'1 mh steez ags that i bought used. i'd like to have the h version of it, but i have the steez xt that has worked great for me. i got the 7'1 h and 7'4 xh xt's off of ebay for $265 shipped, and they still had the tags on them. i was out of fishing...

Re: Just received my Zillion 10

i use 8:1 tat sv's for plastics & jigs, but i don't really want anything faster than that, so i haven't even thought about getting the 10. it sure would match the steez ags rod better though lol
