Thanks Roger! Yeah the viola is an outstanding reel and I bet those corks look good on it. For some reason though, I prefer the posts on the IS reels but like the corks on the LIN reels.

I don't get why people want to keep a fish these days. People can make some amazing replica mounts with just the pictures and measurements. :-k Great fish! I agree! What I find suprising is how common it seems to be here in TX. Maybe not common but I see enough folks say they kept a lunker to eithe...

Wow, A fish to match the beauty of your combo. Both are keepers. =D> What an awesome fish and rod. (Please tell me you don't actually keep trophy fish like that...) DaveJ Oh no, absolutely not. It was actually more rewarding releasing her alive and well. I did get her length/girth (28 long and 20 1...

Re: 70H Luxxe Oltre... Ultimate test. PASS! new pics added p
My only concern with this rod was how the Ti tip would hold up, especially on a heavy powered rod. Ive been using floro for that reason and it held up fine to this point. Yesterday I spooled it up with 40 lb SX1 and tied on a Jointed Claw type S soft swimbait And headed to lake Ivie looking for some...

Re: Zonda clicking star converter kit?
I sold my Rosso red Zonda because it didn't have the clicking drag star... I even looked on tackle trap for the conversion kit and somehow missed it. Ahhh if only this was like a video game and I could reset

Matt, the Super Eiger is a special rod for sure. I had the Northwall on my short list prior to TX but no need for both here. Yes the addiction... the struggle is real on these streets!

I haven't seen much if anything about these rods and given the extreme enthusiast price tag, I was uncomfortable taking the leap. I'm sure glad I did! The looks and attention to detail of this rod speak for themselves, as you'll see in the pics. As soon as I pulled it out of the rod sleeve I knew it...
