Re: Best Baitcasting Reels for both Salt- and Freshwater Fis

Personally, I use a Shimano Exsence DC, Abu Garcia Revo Inshore, and a Calcutta Conquest.

However, for your price range, I'd personally consider a Revo Inshore or the Curado I. If you need more line capacity, try to find a Curado 300E for sale (they hold up really well in Saltwater fishing IMO).

Re: Spinning reel size

What manufacturer are you referring to when you say 40 size reel? Pflueger or Quantum?

Couldn't agree more. Something about holding "old" gear. I have some old rods that I wouldn't let go for any price.

That's a highway robbery right there :D Great buy!! It's crazy when you run across someone selling things and they have no idea the value. Sometimes you have to wonder where they got their inventory from....

Re: Two random/different questions.

I think the misspelling arises from the pronunciation of Daiwa. It is definitely not intuitive.

Not really, I love playing soccer but for some reason watching just isn't that fun for me.

Yeah buddy, you're totally living the salt life when your tag reads "HALL". Lake Life would be a whole lot more appropriate seeing as how Lake Lanie...
