Are the rods getting shown tomorrow I have not really seen any new rod offerings?? Megabass, loomis, or the like have any new things up the sleeve or is it just the things that were released before i cast.

on tackle warehouse they have the pre order i cast stuff up . looks like shimano brought over the new calcutta 18 300 and 400 size to the states, alde 50 mgl. curado 150 dc, slx, metanium dc, and a tranx 200 size reel. daiwa has the exist on the site saying november. I cant really say it is 100% more sensative than the fmj. I do have tuesday and weds off work so ill put the same reel on both rods and line and go cast some baits in the same range. ill do a 1/4 oz t rig 1/2 oz jig and 3/4 oz jig or t rig to see the comparison. I have braid on the kistler right now...

so i got a few hours in with the z bone 7'3" 5 power hvy moderate action today tossing around some baits on the bank to see what it was all about even caught two fish on the test run. Lol ok you guys have made my mind up in the Zpi spools , ok I have a dumb question I have never modified any reels yet I have cleaned many an am comfortable taking them apart. Do I just remove the sv spoil and drop the zpi in? Or do I need to remove any bearings

thanks for all the help guys. Yeah i have noticed these are hard to come by lol they are all sold out on many sites ive seen. I think im going to try one of the new zpi spools while they are still available. then go from there.

sadly i cant recall what he called them. Im wanting to say semi conventional? so not full size guides but the step below that in size im thinking. it should be here weds so ill know for sure then.

I just pulled the trigger on the 7’3” hvy moderate action today. I did a phone order and Trey picked the phone up and took my order which was cool. He did mention the 5 power rods do not use the micro guides.

All those listed are a great choice i cant see you going wrong with any of them. I have the new flat side special and it is a great rod for the lighter end of the spectrum i really wouldnt throw anything over 1/2 oz with this rod.
