Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!

Just to let you guys know, bearing 3x11x4 (grey color) that come with DIY spool is 2.25g on my el cheapo digital scale, while Ray's Studio purple bearing (also 3x11x4) that I've ordered separately are less than 1g. here's video link that I've uploaded in youtube https://youtu.be/c2EeeLimKp4

I also hope by creating this thread, we all could share which brand really meet all line diameter specification and which brand is not. for example bel...

Re: Is it Daiwa, Shimano, or someone else?

I owned Daiwa for BFS and medium setup, but for heavy lure /big bait setup I go for shimano due to its simplicity on design and adjustment. Calcutta 400 (jdm version of 400D) really impressed me, really hard to backlash with this reel even though I set tension cap to the point of massive spool overr...

Re: Swimbait reel

been looking for swimbait/big bait reel since last 2 months as well, to pair with my 702XH rod. bought Cardiff 200A on September but found out spool size of this reel are too small for 0.30mm braided line, only around 90m so I sold it and keep looking for better round reel which will spool up 150-20...

Re: High(er)speed gear set for cardiff

sold my cardiff 200a without even using it. I spool up with 40lb 0.30mm braided line and it's only about 90m. Just ordered Shimano 13 Calcutta 400 (jdm) yesterday from Japan seller (ebay), they sent the package out today and hopefully it will be here by mid next week \:D/

Re: DAIWA 14 MILLIONAIRE 250

Just got some info from millionaire 100 fee hours ago, there are no magforce/centri braking on this reel other than tension knob. Basically its jigging reel

Does anyone in here know which spool from other models can fit into Citica I 200/201? Looking to add some other spool size into my Citica for different line size and capacity. Thanks in advance :)
