Re: Poison Adrena 72M reel choice...
It seems like the Metanium is the go-to reel. How about the Aldebaran or Chronarch CI4+? What is the benefit over the new (MGL) versus the older Metanium besides color? Thanks for all the help as I want to get the perfect reel for this rod! I appreciate it. IMHO, Chronarch CI4+ weight too much for ...

Re: Any opinions on the Major Craft Corzza?
I think correct compare is 1610M-2 with CZC-692M. 115 g vs 123 g. This is not much different.silversix wrote:Any idea how much heavier the rod was compared to the Zodias? Major Craft don't seem to mention the weight of their rods and i don't really want something heavy.

Re: Any opinions on the Major Craft Corzza?
I had CZC-702H rod. Nice model for baits 110-130 mm. With fluorocarbon minnow jerking well. But when I bought Zodias (1610m-2), began to use Corzza fewer and fewer. Advantages Shimano: weight, sensitivity, CI4+ handle more comfortable for me, EVA instead of cork. Finally, I sold MajorCraft to anothe...

Re: Meet the $100 BFS reel: The Haibo Smart
Is this a replacement set or an upgrade? What it means? If you have 6.3:1 Smart and you'll buy these parts for "more speed" - this is upgrade. If you have reel with problem of gearing and you'll buy these parts for solve it - this is replacement. Does it improve smoothness? Wait, I thought the fact...

Re: Meet the $100 BFS reel: The Haibo Smart
Have you weighed the spools? I haven't but others have (Russians) and 10g is what they come out to be. Their shallow spool is sold individually as a DIY spool for Haibo Steed and it's advertised at 9.9g. Seems to check out. The spools are built exactly like the DIY Daiwa spools but with dual breaki...

Re: How many rods to cover all jerkbaits?
I think you need 2 rods. For expample, i have:
1. Shimano Zodias 1610M-2 for 90-110 mm minnows (like Vision 110, Realis 100, Magallon, etc.)
2. MC Corzza 702H for 110-130 mm minnows (like Rudra, Balisong, Pointer 128 and some swimbaits like Giron).

On TaoBao page of Rays Studio appears pictures of 4-ways shimano's brake block. So, i think it first step to spools for: CORE 50Mg/51Mg/50Mg7/51Mg7 CHRONARCH CH50E/CH51E CURADO CU50E/CU51E 09 ALDEBARAN Mg/Mg7 10 Scorpion XT 1000/1001 https://img.alicdn.com/imgextra/i1/13975328/TB2E7bAnFXXXXcaXpXXXXX...
