Why am l only now learning about this? Too soon old, too late smart. Hahaha I always thought oiling the brakes reduced friction, and kind of defeated their purpose. I guess it depends on how much oil. And I'm told that some of the new centrifugal brake systems require oil to work properly. Go figure...
