Re: M1 from Phenix
Perhaps you can post a link to these so called QC reviews you have read. The rods have only been out for 3 days and none of the websites like this one, wired to fish or any of the online retailers that have a comment section have anything listed at all that talks about QC. Quite frankly, there are ...

Calling out the Daiwa Gurus!
Been a while since I've been reading up on this forum about Japan Domestic Models, I'm contemplating on making my first move and bitting the bullet on a JDM. Yes I know, it's highly contagious once you start, with no known antidote as of yet (except maybe the Wife  ) I'm looking at 2 different ...

You've got that right.....IN THE OLD DAYS!!!
Lew's, you went backwards with technology and offered only that reel in Left hand.....Common!

Lew's or Abu...since I've tried dual breaking, I've come to hate the shimano's!

Re: Lews BB1 speed spool (New)
Then I guess it comes down to personal preference, cause a reel with a gentle "slap back" is not what I would feel confident with on tournament day.....especially not while fighting a fish from 20 feet from the boat with back play in the handle, No Way! When using Crankbaits, a good old Glass rod 7'...

Re: Lews BB1 speed spool (New)
Still not sold, and I'll be surprised to see that this reel will be a "big seller" cause what I understand is that this is not the way to go! Then again maybe you are right and the silent majority is in demand of such a reel........Hold on, yeah, NO!

Re: ICAST 2012 - A Big Disappointment
Meanwhile, they boosted the price on the Steez, Lews has a new Pro spool at 299$ and they also jacked up the price on the abu premier to 299$.....Economy maybe, bad timing more likely.

Re: Lews BB1 speed spool (New)
One big problem....they don't offer any new models in left handed retrieve except the BB1.....who would seriously want a baitcaster with play in the handle????
