Re: Ideal Rod for skipping and pitching

I would, why not. Fast, IMHO, is most universal action. You can use it for everything. If I have to pick one rod - it would be fast action. I usually use St. Croix recommendations as a reference to choose right rod for right application. Here is the link with rods and detailed explanation. http://st...

Is the X Fast tip better when casting at a short distance and soft for long distances? Correct, many videos on youtube done by pro's like Scott Martin sug...

Re: Japan lure shop experiences???

Bassmar, E73Bass

Thanks guys! I tried to reach JLS through website's contact page several times with no success.
Ended up doing business with Kazu, he answers next morning and can get stuff for you which is not listed on his website.

P.S. Great info about custom fees!

Re: SV spool bearings

I own Daiwa T3 SV reel with Magforce3D braking system. Swapped stock bearings with ZPI SIC on brand new reel, even didn't fish with stock. CRBB bearings by BOCA?

I know Daiwa put several CRBB bearings to any reel besides standard stainless bearings they have in Daiwa's reels.
Other brands have special lines like HRCB - Hyper Resist Chemical Bearing.

What kind of bearings would be considered as Corrosion resistant or Hyper resistant made by Boca?

Re: JDM Steezes

It already has the 105 SV spool...same as the orange one ...just a color. If you want the versatility of more line capacity for heavier line and want to go to the 103...you could get the 103SV spool. I myself would keep it all BLACK-Gunmetal and get the ltd. Black dimpled 103SV from the Steez -TN. ...
