Re: PG 68BFS/Aldebaran XG Bait Finesse....Concept?
Very nice upgrade. I'm debating myself to get the avail spool for xg. But a little concerned about changing the break block. Is that easy to do? I'm not a big fan of the avail magnet break as too much hassle to change the setting.

Re: ZPI BFC732 Magnet Setup
Thanks all for the reponse. I started with default 2-2 setup and it turned out to be pretty consistent for throwing a 1/16jig with a 2" baby shad. Distance wise, very close to the MB Finese spool.

Re: Dollar to Yen exchange rates
I have been thinking about T3 air for a while and it looks like it can be had for less than $650. Very tempting... I hope Yen continues to drop.

ZPI BFC732 Magnet Setup
I acquired a BFC 732 spool recently to take advantage of the rise of mighty $. The spool weights only 6.5g . I found the instruction on the magnet adjustement is not that straigtforward. Just wondering if someone has experience with the ZPI finesse spool can shed some lights on it. Thanks,

IXA Spool Bearings
Just wondering if anyone have experience with these IXA bearings? The price is reasonable. Are these KTF bearings? Thanks in advance.

Re: TDZ Spool Question
That's great! Thanks for the feedback. One thing I noticed is that the spool inductor is relatively thicker than stock spools. I guess that the spool will pick up more break force (magnetic force) under same settings than stock spool. Is there any gains in performance by have a thicker inductor?

Re: megabass IS finesse spool=WOW!
"for typical finesse bass fishing applications, i have not seen anything better(not even my beloved presso )" Cannot agree more. I've been using it for fishing crappie for a few months now (paired with a ultra-light casting rod built on LSJ 840). For 1/16 crappie jig head plus 1.5~2" grubs, it's bet...

When your knobs cost more than the reel of your fishing buddy.

Re: Pixy Handle Suggestions?
I put the smoke handle on my orange pixy. It looks not as good as it's on PX-R. The star drag on the orange pixy looks ugly as you can see most of it due to the design of smoke handle. Wish the smoke star drag works on the old pixies.

Quantum Smoke Drag Star for Daiwa Alphas/Pixy
Will the drag star from a quantum smoke casting reel fit on Daiwa Alphas/Pixy (pre PXR version)? Thanks in advance for the info. I do know the handle fits well. Really like the looking of the smoke drag stars.
