Re: Conquest BFS 2023
Not a peep from Japan Tackle yet on payment/shipment. This and there is a right hand sitting in my favorite shop for $350+shipping, in which orders typically arrive in 3-4 days.

Re: Non marring tool option for handle nuts etc …
Knipex is pricey, but some of the best. I have a pair of needlenose and they are a pleasure to use. I'll agree, there are a 100 cheaper ways to safely take off your handlenut. But in the same vein, someone with a rod/reel from Walmart can outfish someone with a $1,200 combo. Sometimes it's not just ...

Re: Trout Starter Set
Starter set is coming together. Put the Abu on an Avail Diet, thanks to Tincanary for helping me through the process. Picked up some NS Craft handles and an I's Wood Craft grip system. M-Aire UD glass should arrive early next week. Time to put this stuff to the test. AVail Diet.jpg Cherry and Quince...

Re: Jackall cover craw HELP!!
I'm pretty sure they were discontinued, at least in the US. I see a healthy supply in a couple of shops in JP. Buy enough of them and you will cover the shipping and pay about the same price as the US.

Re: Conquest BFS 2023
What are the options for replacing the ugly handle retainer without replacing the handle on the Conquest BFS?
Include some links or pics if you have any.

What we're seeing here is "Peak JDM'ism" one guy said... I follow this JDM gent on Insta who comes up with all kinds of reel concoctions. A couple of examples: Gates Carbon Drive Zebco 33 GCD Z33.JPG 3D reel with recording/playback device. Currently playing Shimano DC sound each cast..haha 3D DC.JPG

Re: JDM Site Missing Evergreen Brand
Wonder if EG JP is putting the heat on the JDM shops that are common Interternational sellers. I'm sure EG USA via TW, HUT, etc takes a hit with more people migrating to Japan based shops because of the exchange rate. The shop I use pretty frequently has a huge selection, including TG's at about $9 ...

Re: Fiberglass BFS Trout Rods
I have posted photos of my two glass rods from Resilure elsewhere on this forum. I have never held or seen any rod that comes close to his rods in fit, finish, and sheer beauty - that includes any rod I have ever seen on TT. Works of art that are fantastic to fish with. ….If Bamboozle wants somethi...

Re: Fiberglass BFS Trout Rods
Yes, MIJ. MIJ.JPG I ended up going with an M-Aire MG-53MLC (Bait) UD Glass T2-Torzite to match to a red Abu and I wanted something more capable of mid-stream. Had to pre-order as it's not available until May. The wait will be a bi*tch. I really like the Taper and Shape though, there are some you tub...

These are spectacular rods, I almost went with the 3 piece version, but another brand won out on for aesthetic reasons...
