Re: Cranking Blank Suggestions
Thanks for the input guys. I went with the 3C70MHM. Although I do like the idea of the 4C78MHM now. I assume it would handle the shallow stuff pretty well the same but do a better job as it got deeper?

What Sufix are you using? I've never used P-Line, is it pretty good? Which do you use?

Re: Favorite 6 ft or less square bill
I'm a big fan of the LC RC 1.5 as well. Sounds like I really need to try a few KVD 1.5's too from all the suggestions of it.

Gen. 2 - STX brake vs. Winch brake
I had another topic concerning these 2 reels for a cranking stick but thought I'd start a new one for this specific question. Having never owned or used a winch, I didn't realize until recently that they had a different brake than my STX's. So how do the 2 brakes compare? Is either more effective or...

I've been planning to get a few Rapala's, thanks for the suggestions. That bomber doesn't sound too bad, I may have to try that bomber out too. What colors are you running?

Re: How good of a cranking reel is the Revo Winch?
I have all Gen. 2 STX's and would be looking at the Gen. 2 Winch's also. This will be on dedicated cranking sticks

Revo Upgrades?
I've never done any kind of upgrades to reels, just used them as they come. But I was thinking of possibly upgrading 2 of my Revo STX's, OR getting 2 Winch's and upgrading them for cranking. I'm after as much casting distance as I can possibly get for these, so what upgrades would you guys suggest? ...

Night Fishermen - What fluorescent line?
For all you night fishermen, what fluorescent line are you using? It seems as though there aren't many options. I was using Sufix Elite clear blue and they quit making the clear blue. I'm using Seaguar Senshi right now but just wondered what other options I have for use with backlights.
