Re: JDM Steezes

Just received my Steez SV Limited, what to say - WOW!!! Nice piece of equipment! Can't wait to test it on the water. JPAngler delivered it in three days. Paid on Thursday, delivered to my job address on Saturday! Blazing fast. Did you guys upgrade stock bearings on yours Steez SV Limited? Noticed so...

Re: JDM Steezes

I was in same boat as you, and decided to go with Limited SV 105 Pros I like shallower spool vs 103 spool I like the color (can't stand red dirty commy color), my colors don't have red :) Cons 8.1 is a little bit to high for me, I already have bunch of HG reels, ideally I would choose 6.3 or 7.1 Pla...

Re: DAIWA ALPHAS SV 105HS

Another thread of Alphas SV  I tried to find translation for my T3 SV with no success. Daiwa Japan doesn't want to help, unless you talk Japanese and can call them directly. Best bet for you would be find a Japanese person who knows English, ideally that person Knows how to fish and uses bait...

Thanks for the link!
As always no a left hander in 5.X gear ratio reels for US market
SV 105 model comes in 105P, 105HS (RH) and 105HSL (LH).

Re: ICAST-2015

Anyone knows how to save money on Paypal exchange rate if I buy from JLS? JLS show prices in USD (exchange rate 1USD-119.7Yen) Paypal converts 1USD to 116.7Yen when I make a payment. The total come up higher. Paypal has to make their money, I don't think you can get around it. OK! Looks like beside...

Re: Steez at TW ... Discontinued for sure ?

What I wish it would be replaced with - magnesium framed Steez SV w/ 3D braking and sized like a small T3/TD-Z (i.e. the mythical 1016). What I'm guessing it probably will be - Steez TWS, possibly Zaion frame. I hope no TWS on the Steez. Steez SV w/ 3D Brake would be cool though. I think Daiwa is d...

What do you mean by "average anglers budget" - Tatula-Zil price range ($100-$250)?
New Alphas SV for sure goes into that price range.

Re: ICAST-2015

You gotta be kidding if Daiwa won't OFFICIALLY introduce reels with SV spool in up coming ICAST-2015! Yeah, that would be pretty ridiculous if they didn't. If they wanted to actually sell SV spooled reels they need to look to the past failure of the Z200 and to some extent the Pixy R. Quit pricing ...

Some low gear ratio reels would be great.
For some reason everybody wants to go fast.
Shimano insist they don't have enough market to sell for low-gear ratio reels in LH version in US

If one of his big sponsors is Megabass, why he uses Shimano reels  instead of Megabass or at least Daiwa?
