Re: Wanees decal kits

Re: Wanees decal kits
The decals may be good on those beater reels with paint chips and dings that look like they have been drug behind a car on a gravel road. A much cheaper alternative to a new paint job or cerakote. I'd say its pretty good for new reels as well. If you have a nos td ito that you'd like to use, these ...

Re: Wanees decal kits
Very interesting. I'm not sure that I want my reels to look like an engraved shotgun, but those look thick enough to provide some protection. There are a ton of different colors and textures. And i am pretty sure that these were originally introduced to protect your reel from scratches since these ...

Re: Bearing cleaning in ultrasonic cleaner
Would be nice if you could post a short vid. Because i have been doing this for a while now, and unless the bearing wasn't in great shape to begin with, after an ultra sonic bath, it shouldn't become much worse than it was.

But after use, the roughne...

Re: Reel Dress Up Parts?
All my reels have custom stuff on them. Handle and knobs is the minimum. And you can get good deals on ebay, or order directly from Japan. Quality stuff made in Japan is of course much more expensive than some no name brands on Ali, tho.

Re: Red Zillion SV TW 1000.
What kind of a sane person uses a quality carbon handle with that kind of nut retainers? :laugh1: It looks like one of those cheap chinease handles that sort of look like an RCS carbon. Still the plastic nut retainer is dumb. I bet Daiwa got a lot of negative feedback from the US about the colored ...

Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!
One thing for sure, look at the price increase since this thread was created. I recently had the same thought. However, they are still much cheaper than ZPI and KTF. Even at current prices, they still offer a solid cost-to-performance ratio (imo). That's the thing, when you buy zpi, ktf, i'ze facto...

Re: New pixy
With these prices, imagine if the IMZ is released in NA. Probably $1900 for the reel
