Re: Project T 22: 2 new Tatulas
Does the brake dial get in the way or irritate your fingers when palming?

Maybe take a look for an Orochi XXX Mat Bucker or Destruction? Those rods sound similar to what you are looking for.

I really like Toray Polyamide Plus and use it for pretty much everything.

Re: Destroyer P5 KIRISAME KAMEYAMA SPECIAL
I think that will work actually, I dug up some Ikas I had and played around with some similar hooks and it feels like it should be fine. I can try to fish this next time I get out to get a better feel although I can't guarantee a fish will cooperate with me to really put it to the test

Re: Destroyer P5 KIRISAME KAMEYAMA SPECIAL
The Bush Serpent is a sick rod. I have used it for 5 inch senkos and it handled them great. Extremely sensitive as well (to me at least). Casting a 6 inch might be pushing it because of the lighter feeling of the solid tip. What hook do you use for the ikas? I don't fish them but think you can poten...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods
Seeing that it has those dark spots around the filler already I think the cork may have been exposed to moisture/had some trapped under the plastic somehow and could be slightly rotted? Just a thought.

Re: Stubborn screw
Should've put some oil on and around it and applied heat via a soldering iron around the screw, which would've warmed the oil to seep into the threads and expanded the aluminium just enough. That's what I do to Daiwa 'suicide screws', that have locktite red applied to them ex factory. Daiwa suicide...

Re: Swapping the SV Boost spool in the Zillion?
Thanks for posting this, I was thinking the exact same thing after my last outing with this reel. My question is, if I bought one from say TTT, is the spool a direct drop in or do I have to add a bearing to it? Thanks!

Re: More Parabolic Punch Rod
What's everyone's thoughts on using a 4-8 oz rated swimbait stick for punching thick coontail? I'm looking to put together a big big bait and punching stick. All my punching is done from a kayak because the places I fiah that have big bass and mats are for non powered boats only. Also getting a new...

Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
Yeah they do. From my understanding between the models there is a change in guide placement as well so even though they use the same blank this also supposedly contributes to the different characteristics in how the rod handles and behaves.

Re: 2020 Metanium MGL Brake Settings
I have mine set with 4 blocks on and dial set at 2. With this I can cast as far or further than other reels on the same rod and seem to get great distance and control. Don't need to fiddle with it when changing lures or anything too. Any blocks off then I tend to backlash quite a bit. Of course I wo...

A little late seeing this however if you are still in the market I installed a Lorex wifi system earlier this year that works well and doesn't require a monthly subscription. Feel free to PM if you want to learn more about it
