Re: 2019 wishes
I’d love to see a watered down steez sv tw. Essentially like a ss sv version of the new steez sv tw.

Re: OG Zillion Variations
I’ve only owned 3 zillion variants. OG - Dream - 100m
Og was a good reel. Really nothing negative about it.
J dream was pretty but suffered in casting distance.
100 m was good too.
Pe spool in the dream was a great combo.
100m spool in the og was a nice setup as well.

Re: Zillion SV TW question
The zillion sv tw 1016 G1 spools I have say real four real custom on the side. Just like the rcs 1016 but without the RCS letters. My steez sv tw 1016 G1 only says real for on it. So could it be the spool is made in, or from Japan since RCS is a jdm company? No clue if it works that way or not. I do...

Re: Steez A spool options?
I have a steez sv tw and have tried a handful of spools in it. I’m sure I’ll be alone in what I have to say but these are my findings based on what I throw. Which is usually 1/4 - 3/4oz baits. Testing was done with 8-14 gram baits. Stock steez sv tw 1016 G1 (what came with it) Stock steez sv tw 1012...

It’s a ‘fishing’ reel, so use it for that.

Re: Daiwa Zillion SV TW
It would be nice to know if the spring rates are indeed different. I was always under the impression they were about the same from what I’ve read from user experience. I know on my sv spools they acted the same when casting. Both on zillion sv 1016 spools and in the same reel. It could also be the b...

Re: Daiwa Zillion SV TW
I just picked a Steez 103 spool from post office. I'm going to test it with SV Zillion. Plan is to convert SV Zillion to distance caster with this spool using 3/4 oz ... 1 oz lures. And if that works well but if Magforce of it still seems limiting my creativity by letting inductor out too long time...

Re: Help with SV spool inductor
I hope this can help you. http://kenken-020412.blogspot.com/2013/09/sv-spool-fault-and-remedy_3.html That was for the old 1st generation sv spools. Daiwa has designed a newer lower inductor ramp that solves the stuck inductor problem. All of the newer sv spools already have them from the factory. F...

Re: Need help putting back together this alphas!
Would this be a hex nut? The one that should be tucked inside the drag star? I dont think the SV105 has a separate nut and star. All 3 that I've owned have the same star as the SS SV, only painted to match the reel. It’s not separate like some of the Daiwa reels that utilize the square nut/spring c...

It’s a 34mm sv spool. Your options are basically endless.LgMouthGambler wrote:Whats the Zillion SV TW spool compatible with?

Re: J Dream
Thanks for all the replies!! I got the 6.3:1. Rippin, What other spools would you recommend to swap out to? What spools are compatible w/o using spacers? Now I may take the plunge and finally get a TD-Ito 103. Two of my dream reels, I may finally be able to own! Any 36mm spool will fit without spac...

Re: J Dream
The dream is a solid feeling reel. It’s nice to look at too. My only complaint is the stock spool feels very over braked. I was rather let down by the casting distance. I know I’m not the only one who shares those feelings also. There were a few people who said the same thing in a recent discussion ...

Re: Daiwa Reel Resources?
It only needs removed on the T3 for certain spools to work. If you find that you can’t get any side to side play in the spool when used in a T3 then the metal shin needs removed. The other reel doesn’t need anything removed for it to work. Remove #4 and put it all back together. https://imagizer.ima...
