Nice fish .
Night time fishing, there is something about fishing in the dark . The lake, bay or coast, they all change when the sun goes down . Not to mention that most of the fishermen have gone home for the day .

Re: Free Style shad. How much would it set someone back to
My new not in box FS Shad went for $150 ;) Had original rubberbands on it too Pretty good turn around for an $80.00 lure ;) . Supply VS DEMAND The other guy above got $150.00 for a lightly used FS Shad (if I remember correctly :-k ). Which made me think :-k , as I thought $150.00 was the going rate...

Re: A non-fancy USDM step up
WoodT, In 1973, that reel was top of the line  . OP, that reel will last a long time. I still have and use a Chronarch 100SF and those first Chronarch's were the "cat's meow" =D> . BTW, I would love to see your old 80's Bantam Black Magnum reels. I bought one back in the 80's too, but it got li...

Re: Aldebran BFS XG. Saltwater safe?
Hi again bantam. I know your a rep and have to stick with policy, but I was wondering whether avail microcast spools for core 50mg fit in the new XG?? Sorry but of all the reels around this is the one I really want :D Here is a better question. Dan, Will the USDM be seeing a US version of the new A...

Re: Aldebran BFS XG. Saltwater safe?
I would have to say no. Typically the Japanese models are not approved for use in saltwater . Seeing they are using the Mg spool I would not feel comfortable using this in saltwater. The old Calais 200MG-5 models had a similar spool that corroded badly in saltwater. Dan, this seems somewhat perplex...
