I made a quickie outing and waded the usual areas I fish on this Northern Illinois creek, which is about 5mins from my door. http://www.illinoiswaters.net/photos/small/13506.jpg This creek is somewhat polluted because of urbanization/ ea...

Porky River Smallies - 10/15 photos
10/15/05 I had two options for today....... Power-wade and fish all areas I wanted to fish with the 6ft Cardiff caster & spinnerbaits/ In-lines, or take the spinning gear and work spots thoroughly.. I made the right choice with the spinning gear today. Just didn't fish it enough. Never before in my...

Either one of my Catalysts or my Cardiff caster.
Depends, but usually it's one of them.

Hi guys, I've been away for a while... Not that anyone cares... Probably not........... so here's a start. With school (college) being crazy, I've only been able to hit the water once a week. The water I'm fishing is loaded with numbers of small bass, but the big ones are definately in there. Just r...
Re: pulse
The casters are crap. I own 4 Pulse spinning reels. They also have the same TiMag bail system that the Kinetics/ catalysts have, but only without the titanium & bendable bail.. Still not biggie cause it's got good value. It's still a ridiculously smooth reel and they have a nice drag system too. and...

Re: The price for tackle equals to how many fish caught???
Thanks for the replies guys :D I'm just too poor to spend some $300 on one reel.... I'm more of the best value for the dollar amount type of buyer... and what's affordable too. Yet alone, I spend maybe over $1K each year on all the odds and ends from reels, rods, baits, licenses, gas for the boat an...

The price for tackle equals to how many fish caught???
This is an honest question..... This place doesn't seem like much for fishing reports and etc, but I did some thinking and I'm kinda curious to seek the truth. Based on the dollar-value of all your rods/ reels/ baits and etc, how many fish do you catch annually on your rods and reels?? Do you simply...
