Re: Thinking about a NRX

Sorry for jumping in your convo, just a quick question. Is the nrx 873 ccr discontinued? I don't see it on the gloomis page. I found the CRR (Carolina rig) but not the CCR you are discussing. Thanks.

Re: Daiwa T3 Air

Thats not a t3. Its a steez variant of sorts for the japanese market. Your best bet is to contact japantackle and see if they can order the knobs from daiwa japan. Thanks white84z....that makes more sense. I mistakenly assumed it was a T3 variant. No pop up hood, no TW, I should have looked closer....

Re: Daiwa T3 Air

You happen to know where I can source the handle from? Would I have to call Daiwa directly, or are there other distributors for OEM parts? Thanks for the link, that new T3 looks amazing. Although, no TW system, I wonder why? I'm a big fan of the TW, wonder why they changed it...need to read up on it.

Daiwa T3 Air

Anyone know if the handle and knobs on the T3 Air fit the T3 1016 version?

Also, has anyone used the T3 Air? What are your opinions? Beautiful looking reel and specs look killer for ultra light/finesse applications. I'd be interested to hear feedback before I take the plunge. Thanks!

Re: My sexy beast

That is a sweet looking reel! Are there more than one version? I recall seeing one with a red shimano logo on the handle side. Maybe it was just a reflection from that amazing bling!

Re: T3 1016, any longevity issues?

I have the 1016 and Ballistic in each gear ratio. Love them! Thinking of adding another 1016 to tune and bling. Great reel!

Re: Reeling Demographics... are you a righty or lefty

I'm a lefty, reel with my left, feel most comfortable controlling the rod with my right. However, in baseball I bat righty and in golf I swing like a righty. My dominant hand is left...writing, cutting, etc all done with my left. Not sure but I think I'm all screwed up. I guess I just do what feels ...
