Thats not a t3. Its a steez variant of sorts for the japanese market. Your best bet is to contact japantackle and see if they can order the knobs from daiwa japan. Thanks white84z....that makes more sense. I mistakenly assumed it was a T3 variant. No pop up hood, no TW, I should have looked closer....

You happen to know where I can source the handle from? Would I have to call Daiwa directly, or are there other distributors for OEM parts? Thanks for the link, that new T3 looks amazing. Although, no TW system, I wonder why? I'm a big fan of the TW, wonder why they changed it...need to read up on it.

Anyone know if the handle and knobs on the T3 Air fit the T3 1016 version?

That is a sweet looking reel! Are there more than one version? I recall seeing one with a red shimano logo on the handle side. Maybe it was just a reflection from that amazing bling!

I have the 1016 and Ballistic in each gear ratio. Love them! Thinking of adding another 1016 to tune and bling. Great reel!
