Re: Bearings
It makes a difference when casting lighter baits. I would run either hedgehog or ZPI and stay away from cheap bearings... This. Fifty-two bucks for a set of Bocas?? [-X Got that off the Boca site. Let me know where I can get them cheaper. Need 5*11*4 and 3*10*4 for each of my reels. I would buy eit...

Nicely done!hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 3:23 pmThis is the best fish I've caught this year. I usually get one close to or at double-digits each year, but I have no complaints!

Re: Adding a line roller bearing to BG2000?
I've done it on other Daiwa reels and it makes a huge difference. You need a kit with two washers to make it work.
You should feather the line toward the end of the cast and always close the bail by hand to prevent twist and tangles.

Re: Need help locating Zillion TWS bumper
I want to pick up one the new Catalina TWS from TTT for use on my Hyuga 72H. I would need to locate the Daiwa factory purple parts for a Zillion TWS to replace the red parts on the Catalina. TTT only carries TD Zillion bumpers. I would like to find a right hand purple bumper. Shoot me an email with...

Re: Zillion SV and ZPI RC 002
This is terrible, but glad I read it. I was getting ready to move an m spool over to my 9.1 sv. 1012 it is... You can and absolutely should use the NRC M in your Zillion SV. The OP is trying to use an older model, the RC. I can't comment on the new G1 spools, but I'm sure they'll be around longer t...

Re: Zillion SV and ZPI RC 002
On the plus side, the NRC was made for that reel and could scarcely be improved upon, except in an OG Steez where the RC is probably equally well suited.

Re: Zillion SV and ZPI RC 002
Did you remove the bearing coupler that the spool bearing sits in on the stock zillion SV spool? That spool has the 5mm shaft doesn't it? The bearing should seat right in there. I'm wondering if it has a bent pin that's keeping it from seating in the pinion. I had to use a thicker palm plate shim t...

Re: Japan Fishing Show 2020 Predictions
I say this every year for the last 5 or so years. I want a Z1016. That's it. Don't care about anything else since what's currently available is already perfectly fine. Give me a small Z made out of magnesium, without the twing, micro gears from the newer ryoga and charge whatever you want for it, i...
