Re: For the Dodge Charger fans

http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/4/web/2152000-2152999/2152735_24_full.jpg Here's my Charger. A lot of old Charger owners don't like the new ones, but I can tell you, the new ones will beat me. It just doesn't make cool noises. I got the chance to drive an srt-8 magnum at the SRT track e...

Re: Bass Boat Suggestions

The stratos 176XT is flying out the dealerships. Incredible boat for the price. It will be my next boat. There are some owners on bassboatcentral and they seem to like them.

Re: Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi

Sorry, I was wrong...Toyota is 2nd in recalls. http://www.reveries.com/?p=562

One thing I will say, is that recalls are mostly automakers trying to stop lawsuits. I know at the Chrysler dealership we did a lot of unnecessary ones. Some were really a necessary precaution, but the majority were not.

No, I'm not patient. I will throw plastics, but prefer not to.

Re: No barb double hooks

Are you throwing a really big frog? If so, please give me a link. I would like a frog between 6 and 10 inches for muskies.

Re: what a learning curve!!!

The hardest part for me when learning was the muscles used on the cast. You have to reteach yourself how to cast. A baitcaster takes more effort, but don't put too much into it or you will backlash 95% of the time. I always teach beginners that are fishing with me to use heavy lures to start. Don't ...

Black will always be easiest for the fish to see. (not scientific data there, just makes sense to me)

Re: landing net

I use a Frabill Power Catch for muskies (they make smaller sizes) My main reasoning behind buying it is a triangular handle. It will always lock in place. You don't have to twist it to lock it in. Lifetime warranty on the hoop too I believe. They are tough.

Re: Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi

I worked 5 years in a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealership and saw warranty work go to less than half. Yeah...Toyota has such great attention to detail  ...which is why they have more recalls than any other manufacturer. I could have named some bad American vehicles 5 years ago...but can't anymore. ...

Re: Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi

Why does it have to be Japanese? My American Jeep has 145,000 miles on it now and drives like new. No problems. In the 90's Japanese cars were better...its not true anymore...they are equal, except American cars cost a lot less money. No muscle cars? Are you serious? The cars now will beat the crap ...

Re: Heavy Spinning Rod

I wouldn't attempt throwing dawgs w/ a spinning rod. It would be a lot less fatiguing with a baitcaster.
