Re: Daiwa Luvias best spinning reel under $250?
I've owned a Luvias and applied the 7 bearing upgrade kit. It was a great reel. I liked the feel of my Certate more but it was still a nice reel. With the current exchange rate I'd say the Luvias is the best ~$200 reel and the Certate is the best ~$250 reel. Although you have to find a sale to get ...

Re: Alphas SV vs MG Zonda 68
Would this spool fit into the Zonda? Or do i need an SV spool that is made for Alphas since they share same spools? I want some purple spool for it!

Any SV spool that fits the Ryoga 1016 would fit the Zonda68? Can't seem to find what spool would fit in that reel.cndbasshunter wrote:Get the megabass for sure.....the alphas sv is just meh. You can find a sv spool for the mb easily

Alphas SV vs MG Zonda 68
They're both in the same price range. Which one would be better for light lures (under 3/8oz) and is more refined? Im aware of the SV spool being pretty good for lighter stuff but how would the Zonda 68 fare against it? Can i get an SV spool for the Zonda68? If so, would it outcast the Alphas?

Re: Ryoga 1016 upgrades to cast 1/8-1/4 jigs?
So an SV1000 spool *the shallower version* and an RCS 90mm handle. Is there anything else worth upgrading on the Ryoga? What about the knobs?

Daiwa Luvias best spinning reel under $250?
Currently using the Stradic Ci4/Sol 2000 for walleye fishing and thinking of selling them both. What are my options if i were to buy a new spinning reel for under $250? Luvias looks pretty good but how reliable is that thing?

Re: Ryoga 1016 upgrades to cast 1/8-1/4 jigs?
Are there any differences between the RCS1000SV and RCS1000SV Deep when it comes to casting range? I will most likely be using 10lb fluro or 10-12lb sufix832 on the SV spool.

Ryoga 1016 upgrades to cast 1/8-1/4 jigs?
Would that be possible? Reason im asking is because i mostly fish from shore and don't always have multiple rods with me. Just received my Ryoga two weeks ago (my first JDM reel too :D ) and love it so much that i want to use it for everything! So i was thinking of getting another spool but not sure...
