Re: Braid with a flouro leader?
Abrasion resistance, less visible underwater, sound dampening, shock resistance, money saving (retying baits doesn't cut into main line supply on reel), and more that I'm forgetting.

Re: Muse rods?
You might've already mentioned this somewhere as well but I couldn't find it: what action will the muse gold spin rods be?

I like the Norman fat boy crank (think that's what it's called). Comes through cover really nicely somehow.

Re: What makes a finesse baitcaster...
I would guess 16-19g. I have held it next to some lighter spools and it felt heavier, but I can't give an exact.mark poulson wrote:Anyone here know the spool weight of the Lexa 100's A7075 aluminum spool

Re: Shimano Curado I vs Daiwa Tatula
Going to have to change my vote. I'm neutral on this one.. The Curado after further testing, cannot match the tatula. I spoke to soon in my first post. In the wind, there is ZERO comparison - tatula wins every time there. The SVS infinity is not as good as the tried and true vbs or the mag Z. I real...

So who has ordered an elite tech bass so far?? can't wait to get my hands on one of them

Aluminum frame, Zion side plates, and exact shape of tdz103. That would be great.

They are almost no where to be found as of right now.. Lol. Try calling Kruger farms and see if they will cut you a deal, or a place called foshingchartersandsupllies.masterbass wrote:Is anyone finding these on clearance?

If its a hard thump, then I give it one second. If it is small taps, I wait for about 2-3 seconds until I can feel thumps or see the line swim off a few feet.

Re: I thought it was brass... but I guess its not...
Likely is aluminum.. The Curado 100/101d also used a black coated aluminum main gear.Ceasar wrote:I've just bought a Drive gear shimano part BNT3375. It's a dark metal. Does anybody know which metal is it made? Thanks!
